A Hunting We Will Go

Well I leave for Carlsbad on Saturday. This trip should be a lot more eventful than the previous one since I have exact plans now and will be spending less time there, as well. I'm not exactly looking forward to the long, tedious drive, but it's cheaper than flying and I have the added bonus of having my car while visiting. I'm looking forward to getting away though.

In other news, Rob and I have officially started looking for a house to buy. We toured 9 brand new model homes in up and coming Mountain House on Tuesday and we both came out of that experience very impressed. Some of them had 5 bedrooms and at one point, Rob literally became lost in the maze of rooms. Even if we had the money to buy a house that large, we wouldn't since it is just too much house. The whole prospect of buying a house and being a possible joint homeowner by the end of the year is overwhelming, but also exciting. We want to take advantage of the drop in house prices so we may be settled in sooner rather than later.
