Time for Another Update

Well, Robert and I got our engagement photos taken on Tuesday and I've already seen and picked out my favorites. We met our fabulous photographer in Golden Gate Park where she got some great pictures and then over to Crissy Field where the more stunning pictures were taken. Now I just need to go over each photo with Rob and see pick the one we want to have enlarged and on display a the wedding. This will be a tough decision I can already tell.

The wedding invitations are all finished and ready to be mailed out, but I do not plan to do that until late April. Sending them out now would be way too early and look overly eager, if you ask me. Everything is coming together so well, it makes me so happy.

Still Tugging Along...

Aside from changing the invitation colors to suit the color scheme of the wedding, not much else to report. Although the Tiffany blue and white was a beautiful combination, it would have clashed with the blueberry tablecloths and peacock feather accents that already have a confirmed spot in the wedding. Needless to say, we went with a deep purple and white ribbon for the invitations and now it fits in perfectly.  I meet with our perspective photographer on Monday at our house which I am really looking forward to. Hopefully we can solidify the plans for the engagement photo shoot and of course for the wedding date. 

Oh, I do have another slice of good news: I received a letter in the mail from the Human Resources offices at Peralta Community College District letting me know that my application materials have been forwarded for further consideration to the Screening and Interviewing Committee! What I expected to be another rejection letter actually turned out to be a step forward in the candidacy process. I have my fingers crossed. :)
